Bondgate Within, Alnwick, Northumberland – The Artistic Lens
In medieval times, Alnwick was a walled town. Hotspur Tower, a medieval gate, is extant, dividing Bondgate Within from Bondgate Without. The road to the 15th Century tower has impressive buildings, a cobbled street and a drinking fountain. The evening sun has burnished the local stone to golden and bronze in this fine art photographic print.
